We have all been watching the 10 CNN Heroes and listening to how they are helping the world. They all do amazing things for the world. helping fight terrorism, helping war veterans back into the world and other heroic deeds. But the one hero that strikes me as completely amazing is Pushpa Basnet.
Pushpa lives in Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world. 55% of the population lives under the international poverty line. One day, Pushpa was visiting a prison, and she discovered a horrifying fact: people imprisoned in jail have their children imprisoned with them. Pushpa thought this was terrible beyond reckoning.
She started the butterfly home, a daycare that let kids come out of prison for five days a week and be taught mathematics,
