1. The translation of one grade to the next feels primarily like a changing of names- the rules and regulations, homework ethics, studies and perhaps even teacher's (defined by personality) seem to copy along a line from grade to grade, semester to semester. This repeat of events makes is far easier to perfect from mistakes as new ones arise very rarely. The monotony of this is apparent, but it makes everything behind (thereby including the last semester) feel much akin to a practice session- a re-do, with the questions shuffled.
2. Little to nothing. Grades translate directly into each other, teachers are similar within their individual studies to all but physical appearance. Changes of any noticeable form seem only to occur between intermediate and middle school, middle school and high school, etc.
3. Managing a thousand levers at once that seem never to interacts with each other but with individually cause havoc if not watched. Every subject has its own quirks
